Honestly a really fun night. This place is a steal! For around $40 you get unlimited appetizers, shabu shabu, broth, and access to the buffet of fresh veggies, noodles and starches, seafood, and sauces. There is even included dessert and fruit to finish. We had a lot of fun trying different things in the broth. I mixed the spicy and Tom yum broth which was lovely, we also tried a mix of spicy and curry. The best was the kimchi dumplings, the bok choy, and (I know, I'm as surprised as you are) the imitation crab meat. The biggest downside was the servers forgot a few things were ordered and then didn't come back for a long time. There was plenty to eat and we didn't pay extra for the items so it wasn't a huge deal but it did affect the meal. Overall would certainly recommend and return again. Be aware, they do have a fee if you waste too much food. They're very up front about it though so I feel that if you are that person, it's your own fault.

I compare this to Korean BBQ where you basically eat as much as you want. It's a better deal though, especially for a group. Both are about $35 per person but this place also includes an appetizer and sushi roll. Pretty generous. The selection of foods to add to your soup is great. Lots of variety and of course, very tasty and if you're health conscious, it's pretty easy to keep things OK for yourself. Definitely recommend, especially if you're in a group. The spicy broth was just OK. Not as flavorful as I would've liked. I'd try something else.

I was craving good food and so I drove over 30 minutes across town to eat here, so glad I did. I dig the music, it's very hip and modern alternative music. The space is super clean and every staff I've interacted with the five times I've been here have all been extremely kind and helpful. The drinks are bomb, I keep getting the Japanese old fashioned! Even the sushi is surprisingly fresh, the selection of meats is really good for being an all you can eat place.

Recommend: Yes. Period. Full stop... This particular day, the A/C was out and I hope it was fixed past my review. The god awful stench of sewage emanating from the restrooms was appalling - if unbearable. I really don't know if this is common for the restaurant or ONLY a one time fluke but our visit inside the restaurant was almost repugnant to breath inside and again, heading towards the restrooms was appalling; so I do hope this was a one time scenario! (I hope...) Aside from the stench and out of operational A/C, the food, quality variety and service was absolutely top-notch! Having lived in Japan for 4 years, the variety of fresh food here for your soup base was above reproach. YOU create the taste and that is literally limitless to your vision. For people who complain about this restaurant: IGNORE them! This style of eating is about creating the flavor you want. Meat and vegetable variety is excellent and overall the process here is excellent! Servers are always present and assisting you with supplemental meats and drinks. Aside from the previously mentioned disruption above, I would certainly go back due to the presentation of the food, and overall variety. The cost is NOT A CONCERN when you compile the AYCE formula! Wake up people! This is an AYCE environment so please, truly consider this.

PK Shabu and Grill is a great AYCE option for hot pot. I never enjoyed their sushi rolls so I'm not surprised they ended up sticking to hand rolls instead. There was a waitlist for dinner but the line went quickly. We chose our broths and meats before piling our plates with items from the cold bar. We were consistently checked on but the meat refills took a while. *Shoyu: the broth was mild. While shoyu usually is sweet and salty, this broth contributed little flavor to my additions. *Beef Belly: came with a generous strip of fat. Each piece was sliced thinly and cooked easily. Tasty high quality beef. *Pork Belly: similarly paper thin. Not as fatty as the beef but still absorbed sauces well. The cold bar had a plethora of vegetables, carbs and seafood. I was impressed by the inclusion of crawfish and crab although they weren't the freshest. There were even beef ribs but since my broth was so bland, it was hard to season the tougher hunk of meat. The sauce bar was a bit limited, using a commercial sauce as a base and patrons can add spices and seasonings themselves. I would have preferred house made sauces rather than building from soy sauce. PK offered a huge variety of options for hot pot but I hope to see more robust flavors for their broths and sauces. The meats were tasty but everything would have benefited from seasoning.

So fresh, so yummy, I got so full and very satisfied at the end. The first time I saw a hot pot place that had that many options to choose from for a fixed price. The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable. You select one of the individual soup bases, which is awesome. We were a party of 3, and we did 3 different soup bases. If you wanna order meat, you order from the server. The rest of everything (veggies, seafood, rice, noodles, sauce, etc. anything you can think about) you get from the all-you-can-eat buffet. The restaurant was clean, and the buffet was also clean. None of the food was in the wrong place, or not a dirty spot I had noticed during my visit. Once you get full and think that you cannot have anything else, they offer you a dessert; one for each person. OMG =D P.S: I loved their children's menu price and found it extremely funny lol

THE BEST AYCE!! Came in around 6pm on a Sunday and had to wait for about 15 before getting a table. Most tables are sized for four so I can see a larger party waiting for awhile. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive throughout our experience. I tried the "popular" House Spicy which had great flavor but wasn't spicy. If you want it spicier, I would recommend just adding your preferred spice from the buffet bar. There are great meat options on the menu with additional seafood options at the buffet bar. The buffet bar is easily four times larger with more options than typical hot pot places. It is also a nice touch that dessert is included. At the buffet bar there are endless brownies and every individual gets a slice of cake. Overall, if you are in the mood for AYCE Korean Barbecue or Hot pot this place is an absolute must!
